Chet has most recently landed the position as saxophonist in Sam Roberts Band and played with the band at the July 1st celebrations on Parliament Hill! Last September, Chet and his brother Jim performed a sold out show at the Cove as a quartet including the famous world renowned jazz guitarist John Abercrombie. He’s also a CBC regular and one of the up and coming jazz masters of his generation.

Joe has become the session/call guy for guitar based string work in Montreal performing all styles and combinations of music. He composes and performs solo and in countless groups best bonus casino online. He was featured and paired with Suzie Vinnick on CBC’s Vinyl Cafe with Stuart McLean for one tour.

The Barr Brothers hail from the former jam bands kings of North America, The Slip. They’ve enjoyed critical and commercial playing with bands like My Morning Jacket and The Black Crowes and appearances at Bonnaroo Festival, Conan O’Brien and on Grey’s Anatomy. These two are true professionals in disguise. Finally, Morgan Moore is a master of the bass. Drawing from all styles, he is a first call bassist with a host of the jazz elite in Montreal including Ranee Lee, Ben Charest and Tim Hagans to name a few.

Drawing on his family roots from the Southern United States, Chet’s original pieces highlight a strong link to the music of the blues, Bluegrass, Appalachian music and sacred hymns.

Muse Hill represents a new sound on Montreal’s fertile music scene that is sure to lead to new ideas about the path of instrumental and vocal music.

Chet and Joe are former McGill and Concordia University Jazz alumni of Seamus and Jeff Cowan of the Cove with Joe and Brad their former band mates.

This is a show by a serious musical returnee to the Cove not to be missed.
