Inside Out

June 27 | 7pm
The Davies Lounge, Grand Theatre

Inside Out is the brainchild of Benji Perosin (trumpet) and Jonathan Stewart (saxophones), with Mike Perlin (bass) and Rob Radford (drums). The group perfoms a mix of original music while examining the line between the melodic “straigh-ahead” music of Duke Ellington, and freer music of the likes of Ornet Coleman. The chord-less format of the band allows the horns much freedom in interpreting harmony and form, and there is much group improvisation.

Catch Inside Out on June 27 at 7pm and 9:30pm for a free concert in The Davies Lounge presented by the Kingston Jazz Society as a part of the Skeleton Part Arts Festival.
