Canadian jazz lovers take note: Manteca will be performing at The Mansion on Saturday, September 25th.
After decades on top of the Canadian jazz scene, Manteca chose to disband in the late 90s. After nearly a decade, they released a new CD in 2008. (Read the full story here.) Now, Kingston Punk Productions is bringing them to Kingston! No doubt this show will be a treat.

The Waterfall Tea Room will be hosting Julie Michels & Kevin Barrett for a CD release party for their upcoming album on Saturday, September 18th. Tickets are $15. Dinner is at 6pm, the show starts at 8pm.

This year marks the tenth year for the festival and they are celebrating it with an impressive list of artists. The full schedule includes many Kingston and area favourites such as Sara Hamilton and David, and Jonathan Stewart. Once again, Guido Basso is serving as the Artist-in-Residence, along with Brian Barlow, the Creative Director.
